My sweet brother in law, I don't even know why I say that because you were like a second brother to me. My heart is heavy because I wasn't always the best sister....let's be honest, we could argue to no end and both of us always had to win, lol. Of all the times that I doubted you it was only because I knew the amazing person you were and only wanted the best for you. We had a unique history that only our family will ever understand. I miss you already and nobody could ever come close to filling the void in our lives. I take comfort in knowing that you are in a far better place and I promise you that I will never let my kids forget their YaYa. You spent your last moments doing what you were created to do and that makes my heart smile. I wish I would have told you that I love you more but, I can only hope that you left this world knowing that I do. I know that you loved all of us with your whole heart and it's a love that not even death that break.

A week before the accident, Josh told me to never be ashamed of who I am, because God made me exactly how he wanted me. A few days before he told me that, I was feeling down on myself. I feel like somehow he knew I needed to hear that. I love and miss you Ya-Ya.

We knew Josh since he was born. Josh was a beautiful child, a handsome youth, and a man who travelled a road many will never understand. At the end of his life, he was desperately seeking the Lord and spent many hours in study and prayer. He loved his family and was always willing to do anything for anybody. We will miss his humor, his hugs and his sweet face in this life, but we look forward to seeing him once again. We love you Josh.
